Director of Community Outreach (Full-time, Exempt)

The Director of Community Outreach will lead outreach and community engagement for the Leawood campus.  While cultivating a personal presence and building strong relationships within the community, he/she will help equip the Leawood campus for collective and interpersonal evangelism, ultimately connecting new people into the nurturing environment of the church.  As a result of programs and initiatives developed and implemented, the Leawood campus will effectively reach out to, and connect with, the surrounding community, making disciples of Jesus Christ.  This ministry will be accomplished, in large part, through motivated and inspired lay leaders serving under the direction of the Director of Community Outreach.  Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with seminary training desired, though not required, with prior experience in church leadership (as a volunteer leader or staff member), and the ability to develop and initiate new ministries and programs to accomplish the vision of Church of the Resurrection.  To submit your resume, please Click Here.  Special Needs Care Specialist (Part-time, Nonexempt)

The Special Needs Care Specialist works 5 hours per week to provide hands-on care for participants with special needs, ranging from autism to other physical and/or intellectual disabilities, through direct care and by organizing and directing volunteers. Providing services that honor God and minister to children with special needs, this position helps to ensure that Church of the Resurrection is building a dynamic Christian community that services this population. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of autism and other disabilities; the ability to model and assign tasks to volunteers; and an understanding and experience in behavior management and applied behavior analysis. Coordinating Assistant to Operations (Full-time, Nonexempt)

The Coordinating Assistant to Operations will provide administrative support to Facilities, Finance and Information Technology.  Responsibilities will involve collaboration with other departments and campuses; acting as the point of contact for the Memorial Garden; purchasing supplies; general accounting and financial paperwork; and data input.  Successful candidates will be customer focused with excellent organization and communication skills.  Additionally, the candidate must have proficiency in MS Office with experience in financial recordkeeping and the ability to serve collaboratively with a variety of team to achieve a common purpose. Network Administrator (Full-time, Exempt)

Seeking an experienced IT professional to join Resurrection’s IT infrastructure team, managing a virtualized Windows environment and a complex, multi-site WAN with multiple routed subnets.  Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years current experience installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, VMware vSphere, Cisco routers, firewalls, network switches, wireless access points, and structured voice and data cabling.  If you are a proven technologist who is excited about the chance to use your IT skills to serve God on staff at Resurrection, this is your opportunity.  Reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager.  To submit your resume, please Click Here. KiDS COR Nursery & Childcare Classroom Leader (Part-Time, Nonexempt)

The Classroom Leader’s main focus will be investing in the spiritual lives of the children, ages 6 wks through 5th grade, participating in KiDS COR Childcare. They will be responsible for actively engaging the children while leading activities and teaching lessons, while using personal creativity. Being responsible, reliable, having strong communication and organization skills are all key aspects to the success of this position. Candidates should have prior experience working with multiple children in a teaching environment. Our Ministry offers childcare 6 days a week, morning, afternoon and evening, providing an opportunity for a wide variety of hours and schedules. Currently, we are specifically looking for candidates to fill two or more of the following shifts weekly:  Sun 4:30 to 8:45pm, Tues 6 to 8:45pm; Wed 9 to 11:45am; Wed 5:45 to 8:45pm; Thurs 9 to 11:45am (multiple other shifts available as well).  This position reports to the Nursery Program Director.  To submit your resume, please Click Here. Facilities Maintenance Technician (Full-time, Nonexempt)

The Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains buildings which involves painting, sheetrock repair, doors, ceilings, hardware, and floors; performing and/or coordinating minor remodel projects; and assisting with room and event setups.  Qualified candidates will have a high level of initiative with 7 to 10 years experience in commercial or residential repairs/maintenance and knowledge of blue prints, inventory management and how to complete projects on time and within budget.  Prior experience with building construction on trades or in building construction is needed.  Must be able to push, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.  To submit your resume, please Click Here. Resurrection Downtown KiDS COR Childcare Classroom Leader (Part-time, Nonexempt)

Matthew’s Ministry Sonflower Adult Learning Program Special Needs Care Provider (Part-time, Nonexempt)

Matthew’s Ministry, the church’s ministry for adults and children with special needs, is looking for a Special Needs Care Provider to work 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday providing hands-on care and support for adults with special needs at the Sonflower Adult Learning Program.  Support will be provided for all aspects of the Sonflower Adult Learning Program including the bakery, devotion, art class, music class, fitness/yoga and more. Daily responsibilities will entail supervision of program participants and volunteers as well as assisting with some administrative tasks. Successful candidates will have prior experience working with children and adults with special needs, ability to multi-task, ability to lift boxes of bakery supplies and effectively oversee participants moving among various locations on the Leawood campus.  To submit your resume, please Click Here. Human Resources Coordinating Assistant (Part-time, Nonexempt Temporary)

Exterior Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Nonexempt)

This position will manage a variety of landscaping and site-related projects including lawn maintenance; snow removal; curb, asphalt and sidewalk repairs.  Qualified candidates must have 2 years experience in commercial or large residential landscaping, including lawn, tree and shrub maintenance. Experience with prairie and wildflowers is preferred.  In addition, proven experience overseeing/managing projects, with a working knowledge of chemicals/fertilizers and irrigation systems.  Job requires physical effort and lifting up to 50 pounds.  This position reports to the Facilities Management Program Director.
