Finance Specialist - Accounts Receivable (40 hours, Nonexempt, Benefits Eligible)

We are seeking a Finance Specialist to handle funds received by the church.  This includes accounting for contributions made by credit card, electronic funds transfer, and stock transfers.  Additional responsibilities will include entering and tracking financial and general information in both the church's contribution database and the church's financial database.  Additionally, this incumbent will coordinate stock sales through church stock brokers and communicate with congregants regarding these stock transactions; supervise office volunteers; manage contributions made at special events, and generally manage incoming ministry dollars through deposits and journal entries.  Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of accounting principles through education/experience equal to 2 to 5 years.  Speed and accuracy on ten-key and computer data entry is required along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.  We are looking for a self-motivated individual with outstanding customer service experience/skills who is attentive to detail and enjoys serving collaboratively with a variety of teams.  This position reports to the Director of Finance and Accounting.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.  Cover letters submitted must be combined with resume into one document.

 

Congregational Care Administrative Assistant (Silver Link) (30 hours, Nonexempt - Benefits Eligible)

We are seeking a caring, highly organized and motivated individual to join the Congregational Care team.  This position will serve a crucial role providing administrative support for our Silver Link Ministry.  This ministry serves senior adults in assisted and skilled nursing facilities with special emphasis on persons with Alzheimer's Disease or related disorders.  Specifically, this position will support the Director of Silver Link with scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls and emails, maintaining electronic files/reports, completing financial paperwork, providing communication with volunteers, assisting with large gatherings/classes such as special worship services, grief ministry and Fastart classes.  Successful candidates will understand a team approach to care-giving, possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, have the ability to follow projects to completion, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.  Cover letters submitted must be combined with resume into one document.

Facilities Maintenance Technician (32 hours, Nonexempt - Benefits Eligible)

Every event at Church of the Resurrection is impacted by the work of the Facilities Department. They are looking for someone to join their team to assist with room set-ups/tear-downs as well as light maintenance and janitorial duties. This individual should have a high level of motivation and strong organizational and customer service skills. Must be able to bend and physically lift and push up to 50 lbs. Coordinating Assistant for Student Ministries (40 hours, Nonexempt - Benefits Eligible) 

The Coordinating Assistant for Student Ministries provides administrative support to the Director and Associate Director of Student Ministries while coordinating and overseeing the Student Ministry budgeting, calendar, communications, office needs, and care administration. Resurrection West Director of Children's Ministries (40 hours, Exempt - Benefits Eligible)

The Resurrection West Director of Children's Ministries will be responsible for the overall vision, strategic leadership, and staff/volunteer development for this growing, dynamic ministry for children, infants through fifth grade.  Important aspects include designing and growing a ministry with a passion for spiritual development of children, effective staff management, recruiting, developing, and sustaining volunteers, and full coordination of curriculum and programming for weekend, weekday, and special event ministry.  Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience, with preference of at least five years experience leading children's ministry in a large or multi-site church setting.  This individual must be able to physically lift and push up to 30 lbs.  To submit your resume, please Click Here. Cover letters submitted must be combined with resume into one document.

Digital Communications Specialist (40 hours, Exempt - Benefits Eligible)

The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for implementing the church's communication strategies through digital media, serving as the site manager for the church's website, blogs and social media.  This includes creating content, managing projects, leading key digital media initiatives, partnering with various ministries for their communication needs and evaluating results.  Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience plus proven competency in using digital media design tools including Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver and content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress.  Successful candidates will possess strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with both IT and communication professionals and manage both technical and nontechnical members of implementation teams.  The position requires flexibility, versatility and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.  If you have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be innovative while working with defined parameters, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.  Cover letters must be combined with resume into one document.

Resurrection Downtown Technical Arts Producer (20 hours, Nonexempt)

Resurrection Downtown is an exciting community with multiple worship services housed in two locations.  The Technical Arts Producer will work with the Director of Technical Arts by assisting in technical production support for the campus.  This includes managing rehearsals, planning, and execution of all technical components of worship, including, but not limited to facilities, audio, lighting, graphics, video and staging.  Qualified candidates will have experience in each of these areas.  This individual also helps in managing and maintaining teams of volunteers for weekend technical production.  To be successful, one must have a working knowledge of digital audio consoles, IEMS, RF signal management, Adobe Creative Suite, and web streaming.  This position requires being able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis as well as climbing ladders up to 25 ft.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.  Cover letters submitted must be combined with resume into one document.

Resurrection Downtown KiDS COR Childcare Classroom Leader (5-10 hours, Nonexempt)

Resurrection Downtown is seeking Childcare Classroom Leaders whose main focus will be investing in the spiritual lives of the children, ages 6 wks through kindergarten, participating in KiDS COR Childcare.  They will be responsible for actively engaging the children while leading activities and teaching lessons, while using personal creativity.  Being responsible, reliable, having strong communication and organization skills are all key aspects to the success of this position.  Our Ministry offers childcare multiple days a week, morning, afternoon and evening; providing an opportunity for a wide variety of hours and schedules.  Currently we are specifically looking for applicants who can work weekend evenings and Sunday mornings.
