Nursery Coordinator (25 hours, Nonexempt)

Human Resources Coordinating Assistant (20 hours, Nonexempt)

The Human Resources Coordinating Assistant will provide administrative support including day-to-day communication, completion of forms/paperwork, computer and phone support, assisting with monthly/yearly projects, and answering general questions.  This vital position is often the first point of contact for applicants and internal customers so strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and communicate effectively while maintaining strict confidentiality is key.  Successful candidates will have 3 to 5 years administrative experience with proven ability to effectively organize, work independently and follow projects through to completion.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to work with ministry specific software and databases is necessary.  We are looking for an individual who wants to add value to the Human Resources ministry using the spiritual gift of administration and skills for relational ministry.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Global Impact Ministries Coordinating Assistant (25 hours, Nonexempt)

The Global Impact Ministries Coordinating Assistant coordinates Church of the Resurrection's domestic and international mission trips and service opportunities, serving as the onsite logistical coordinator for all mission trips and events. This position coordinates daily activities of the Pastor of Global Impact Ministries and provides general administrative support to other staff members involved in international and domestic missions.  Additionally this position will assist leadership teams, training activities, and related strategic initiatives.  Successful candidates will have excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills with proven ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required, including use of formulas and functions within Excel, administration of email and scheduling with Outlook, and the use of advanced features in Word and Publisher.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Silver Link Chaplain (20 hours, Exempt)

This position will do hospital visits and provide consistent ongoing care for persons in care facilities, homebound or in hospice.  Working closely with the Pastor of Silver Link and the Congregational Care team as a whole, comprehensive spiritual support will be provided to the Resurrection community, especially those persons who are frail and elderly and meet the Silver Link criteria.  Additionally this position will provide administrative support to the Silver Link Pastor and handle some technical support for care homes who view our services via simulcast.  Support will also be provided for lay leaders who lead worship services in varioius care homes throughout the area.  Successful candidates will be passionate about ministry to those who are frail or have dementia.  Must have exemplary computer, communication and organizational skills.  We are seeking someone who is grounded in Wesleyan theology and is trained or willing to be trained as a Congregational Care Minister (CCM).  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Director of Local Missions (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

The Director of Local Missions provides strategic direction and oversight to locally oriented mission programs that maximize the congregation's involvement in life-changing ministry beyond the walls of the church.  This involves developing first-class ministry leaders; effectively leading a team of dedicated staff and volunteer leaders; and cultivating strategic relationships with the communities that Church of the Resurrection serves.  Successful candidates will be passionate about helping non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians through service to others with a proven track record of leading and managing staff and development of effective volunteer leaders and teams.  Additional requirements include the ability to cultivate relationships within the communities we serve, bridging across racial, denominational, ethnic and socioeconomic lines; creativity with the ability to be a "big picture" leader who can track details of multiple and varying projects simultaneously; and solid communication, time management and problem solving skills.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Student Ministries School Year Intern (25 hours, Nonexempt)

This position will collaborate with Student Ministries Leadership and its ministry teams located at the Leawood campus to help plan, organize and direct opportunities or experiences designed to promote spiritual development among students (sixth through twelfth grade).  Responsibilities will include assisting with leadership development, intentional discipleship, and worship.  Additionally, there will be opportunities for development of program/curriculum for study groups, student worship services and confirmation classes.  The position will work approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.  Successful candidates will be deeply committed Christians capable of effective communication with students and adults; flexible and highly motivated with strong commitment to the Christian faith and theology of The United Methodist Church.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Downtown Campus

Downtown Visual Media Producer (20 hours, Nonexempt)

Resurrection Downtown is a growing community within the creative arts district of downtown Kansas City.  In coordination with the Creative Director, the Visual Media Producer will provide creative and technical support in a fresh and original perspective that speaks to this vibrant and emergent community.  This person will be a highly creative individual who is able to work under tight timelines and deliver consistently high quality work.  The Visual Media Producer will manage the planning and execution of visual elements, including video and graphic design for weekend services and other creative endeavors.  In addition, they will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Director of Technical Arts in the execution of weekend services, including, but not limited to audio, lighting, video, graphics and staging.  This person will need to acquire working knowledge of all technical systems to provide backup support for the Director of Technical Arts and volunteers.  In addition, qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in the fields of video production/editing or graphic design (preferably both).  To submit your cover letter and resume, along with a link to an online portfolio of your work, please Click Here.

Downtown KiDS COR Childcare Classroom Leader (5-10 hours, Nonexempt)

Resurrection Downtown is seeking Childcare Classroom Leaders whose main focus will be investing in the spiritual lives of the children, ages 6 wks through kindergarten, participating in KiDS COR Childcare.  They will be responsible for actively engaging the children while leading activities and teaching lessons, while using personal creativity.  Being responsible, reliable, having strong communication and organization skills are all key aspects to the success of this position.  Our Ministry offers childcare multiple days a week, morning, afternoon and evening; providing an opportunity for a wide variety of hours and schedules.  Currently we are specifically looking for applicants who can work weekend evenings and Sunday mornings. West (Olathe) Campus

West Director of Worship Arts (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

Worship through musical arts is an important element for Resurrection West as music is the critical tool for experiencing worship and unifying the community in our suburban context.  We are seeking an artist with a servant's heart who has knowledge of modern worship music, ancient-modern hymns, and secular songs appropriate for a worship setting.  This position will manage the planning and execution of all musical components of worship and other campus special events as needed, including, but not limited to, selection and arranging of music, developing and training volunteer worship leaders, recruiting and training volunteers for bands and choirs, and being a key contributor in the weekly worship planning process.  Successful candidates will have proficiency on guitar or piano with proven experience in instructing others and arranging music.  Additionally, excellent communication skills, initiative, and computer proficiency is required.  If interested, submit your resume with links to an audio or video sample showing your musical ability by Clicking Here.
