Resurrection Blue Springs Guest Services Coordinating Assistant ( Part-time, Nonexempt)
The Resurrection Blue Springs Guest Services Coordinating Assistant works 10 hours per week, including Sunday mornings, to ensure the highest level of hospitality and guest services for our newest and existing members in order to guide them on their journey to becoming deeply committed Christians. This position is responsible for coordinating hospitality efforts for our Connections Ministry, Worship, and Special Events. Whenever possible, the Guest Services Coordinating Assistant’s work will be accomplished through a motivated and inspired team of volunteers with clearly defined roles. This person will be well versed in the church-wide volunteer opportunities and will provide leadership, training, delegation and holistic support to volunteer ministry teams at Church of the Resurrection Blue Springs and will serve as a resource for all church staff and church members. Qualified candidates will be organized, highly motivated, and able to complete projects with little direction. Café Services Associate – (Part-time, Nonexempt)
The café at Church of the Resurrection, known as The Spring, is seeking a bright, energetic, self-motivated person to assist with operations. The café is an important area of ministry that serves not only our congregation but also those visiting for special events and those seeking to find a church home. Because of this unique opportunity, the successful candidate must have a passion for people, customer service and a “whatever it takes” attitude. The Café Services Associate will support coffee and food service operations; assist with Point of Sales systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, preparing and serving coffee and related products. May be required to physically purchase, pick up, and deliver certain inventory items from local wholesale clubs and other vendors. Customer service and/or retail experience is optimal. Hours will include Sunday mornings, weekdays, special events, and holidays. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Director of Youth Orchestra (Part-time, Non-exempt)
The Director of Youth Orchestra will work 8 hours per week rehearsing and conducting the Youth Orchestra for worship performances and various other events during the year. Additional responsibilities include spiritual leadership, volunteer coordination, and communication with musicians and volunteers. This position is also heavily involved in the planning and implementation of the Youth Orchestra’s annual mission tour in June of each year. Successful candidates will have a degree in Instrumental Music with previous experience as director of an instrumental program or ensemble.
