Program Director for Weddings & Baptisms (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

The Program Director for Weddings and Baptisms is responsible for overall direction and management of both weddings and baptisms.  This involves working with congregants, visitors, key staff and volunteers.  For Weddings, this position serves as the primary contact, overseeing all logistics including pastor assignment, premarital classes, facility needs, AV support, and recruitment/engagement of contracted Wedding Coordinators.  For Baptisms, this position schedules for all four campuses, tracks requests, obtains pertinent information, arranges baptism classes, and creates baptism certificates, cards and bulletins. Technical Production Assistant - Sanctuary (6 hours, Nonexempt)

The Technical Production Assistant assists the Technical Producer during worship and rehearsal.  Responsibilities are varied, depending on needs.  Duties include stage management for assigned services, acting as talent stand-in during rehearsals, handling preparations for volunteer crews, running cue timing software and filling in as needed for camera operations, video engineer, and/or graphic operations.  Additionally, this position provides oversight for stage decor, stage cleanliness and movement of props.  Successful candidates will be proficient on MS Office and Mac OSX, have solid communication skills, able to work independently, attentive to detail, and be comfortable lifting/moving equipment up to 50 lbs. and working on catwalks at heights of 30-45 ft.  Hours require availability every Sunday morning with occasional additional/different hours for special events.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Guest Services Coordinating Assistant (40 hours, Nonexempt, Benefit Eligible)

KiDS COR Childcare Classroom Leader (5-29 hours, Nonexempt)

The Classroom Leader's main focus will be investing in the spiritual lives of children, ages 6 weeks through 5th grade.  Responsibilities will include using personal creativity to actively engage children while leading learning activities and teaching lessons.  Being responsible, reliable, with strong communication and organization skills, are key aspects to success in this position.  Prior experience working with multiple children in a teaching environment is preferred.  This ministry offers childcare 6 days a week, morning, afternoon and evening, providing a wide range of available schedules.  Currently we are specifically seeking candidates to fill two or more of the following shifts weekly:  Saturdays 4:30pm-6:30pm; Sundays 4:30pm-6:30pm; Sundays 6:30pm-8:45pm; Mondays 9am-11:45am; Mondays 6pm-8:45pm; Wednesdays 9am-11:45am; Wednesdays 5:45pm-8:45pm; Thursdays 9am-11:45am; Thursdays 6pm-8:45pm.  Multiple other shifts available as well.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Worship Hospitality Program Director (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

The Hospitality Program Director provides oversight of all worship hospitality efforts, as well as training and holistic care of volunteers engaged in hospitality roles.  This position leads a variety of weekday and weekend volunteer teams serving in Connection Point, Worship, Ushering, Greeting, and Section Community.  Working with highly motivated, inspired and well-trained teams of volunteers, specific focus is on providing an excellent worship experience that delivers a sense of community and belonging to all who come to Resurrection.   This person will be well-versed in the various adult discipleship, service and church-wide volunteer opportunities.  Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal, leadership, hospitality and administrative gifts with proven experience in building, leading and directing volunteers.  Must have the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other ministries and think creatively to address concerns.  Additionally, proficiency is needed in Microsoft Office with some data management experience and aptitude working with web content management software.  If you have a servant's heart and enjoy working with a group of dedicated volunteers focused on hospitality, this is the job for you.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Accounts Receivable Finance Specialist (40 hours, Nonexempt, Benefit Eligible)

We are seeking a Finance Specialist to handle funds received by the church.  This includes accounting for contributions made by credit card, electronic funds transfer, and stock transfers.  Additional responsibilities will include entering and tracking financial and general information in both the church's contribution database and the church's financial database.  Additionally, this incumbent will coordinate stock sales through church stock brokers and communicate with congregants regarding these stock transactions; supervise office volunteers; manage contributions made at special events, and generally manage incoming ministry dollars through deposits and journal entries.  Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of accounting principles through education/experience equal to 2 to 5 years.  Speed and accuracy on a ten-key and computer data entry is required along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.  We are looking for a self-motivated individual with outstanding customer service experience/skills who is attentive to detail and enjoys serving collaboratively with a variety of teams.  This position reports to the Director of Finance & Accounting.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Worship Logistics Coordinating Assistant (20 hours, Nonexempt)

This position will work 20 hours per week providing leadership and oversight of all worship logistics for worship venues.  Specifically, the Worship Logistics Coordinating Assistant will lead and support volunteer teams including Greeters, Ushers, Worship Coordinators, Communion Servers, and Attendance Notebook Stuffers, design and implement strategies for large-scale worship events such as Christmas and Easter; provide logistical support for liturgical elements in worship including baptism and Holy Communion; oversee special worship elements by coordinating with Venue Planning, Clergy, Music, Technical Production, Communications, and other teams; ensure environment/space of worship is clean, pleasant ad comfortable for the worshiper; maintain orderly back-of-house space; and coordinate with Worship and Guest Services on community building strategies and events for the worship venue.  Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with gifts in hospitality and administration.  Proven experience in volunteer management and computer proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.  Hours include Sunday mornings.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Downtown Director of Children's Ministries (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

Downtown Director of Technical Arts & Facilities Manager (40 hours, Exempt, Benefits Eligible)

The Director of Technical Arts and Facilities Manager will directly oversee and provide all technical production support to the Resurrection Downtown campus, managing the planning and execution of all technical components of worship, including, but not limited to facilities, audio, lighting, graphics, video and staging.  Oversees teams of volunteers for technical production and security on Sundays.  In addition, he or she will manage ongoing facilities matters ranging from routine upkeep, coordinating the relationship with the Facilities Liaison in Leawood for maintenance and repair, overseeing existing and ongoing contracts with regular contracted service providers, and overseeing volunteer/contract staff for external events including but not limited weddings and funerals.   Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience mixing Front of House and working in the main areas of technical production (audio/lighting/video/staging) as well as an advanced working knowledge of digital audio consoles, IEMs and RF signal management.  To submit you cover letter and resume, please Click Here.

Downtown Volunteer & Worship Logistics Coordinator (25 hours, Nonexempt)

Resurrection Downtown is an active and engaged congregation located in the heart of the city. The Volunteer & Worship Logistics Coordinator provides leadership and logistical support in helping the newest and existing members become deeply committed Christians by connecting them into the volunteer and service opportunities of the church pertaining to worship logistics. This person will be well versed in the church-wide volunteer opportunities and will provide leadership, training, delegation and holistic support to volunteer ministry teams at Church of the Resurrection Downtown and will serve as a resource for all church staff and church members. To be successful, one must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent follow-through. West (Olathe) Campus

Director of Worship Arts (40 hours, Exempt, Benefit Eligible)

Worship through musical arts is an important element for Resurrection West as music is the critical tool for experiencing worship and unifying the community in our suburban context.  We are seeking an artist with a servant's heart who has knowledge of modern worship music, ancient-modern hymns, and secular songs appropriate for a worship setting.  This position will manage the planning and execution of all musical components of worship and other campus special events as needed, including, but not limited to, selection and arranging of music, developing and training volunteer worship leaders, recruiting and training volunteers for bands and choirs, and being a key contributor in the weekly worship planning process.  Successful candidates will have proficiency on guitar or piano with proven experience in instructing others and arranging music.  Additionally, excellent communication skills, initiative, and computer proficiency is required.  If interested, submit your resume with links to an audio or video sample showing your musical ability by Clicking Here.
