Resurrection Downtown Associate Worship Leader (Part-time, Nonexempt)
Worshipping through the Musical Arts is an important element for Resurrection Downtown. Within a vibrant, artistic community inside an urban center, music is a powerful tool for experiencing worship and unifying the community. The Associate Director of Worship Arts will work 20 hours per week to coordinate with the Director of Worship Arts at Resurrection Downtown to provide creative and musical support and direction for worship services at the Resurrection Downtown campus. This position will manage the planning and execution of creative components of the assigned worship services, including, but not limited to leading and/or musically supporting in Resurrection Downtown worship services, selection and arrangement of music; developing, recruiting, and training volunteer worship/creative arts teams; and helping the Campus Pastor, Director of Worship Arts and Director of Technical Arts in the weekly worship planning process. This individual will have proficiency on guitar and/or piano with proven excellence in performing and leading a band, as well as the technical proficiency to assist with the execution of worship services and creative endeavors related to worship. The candidate must also have the pastoral and relational skills necessary to develop and mentor groups of volunteer musicians and leaders and assist in cultivating the growing artistic community and culture at Resurrection Downtown. Missions Finance Specialist (Full-time, Nonexempt)
This position will assist the Director of Mission Ministries and the Director of Finance & Accounting with financial reporting for Mission Ministries. Specifically, the Missions Finance Specialist will handle expense reimbursements; assist with budget development; reconcile mission trip funds; assist with financial recordkeeping connected to missions events/initiatives, input information related to pledges from Stewardship Campaign, Capital Campaigns and special offerings; provide guidance to staff/ volunteers regarding tax implications of missions operations, initiate mission related wire transfers, and prepare necessary paperwork/forms for mission operations. Successful candidates will have a degree in Accounting or a related field with 2 to 5 years relevant experience; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with exemplary proficiency in 10-key and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Resurrection Downtown Information Liaison (Part-time, Nonexempt)
Resurrection Downtown is seeking an Information Liaison to work 20 hours per week answering phones, greeting/assisting people visiting the Church, supporting the building schedule, and assisting staff with administrative needs. Additionally, this position will maintain program and facility use calendars, be the primary presence at the building entrance during weekday office hours, and provide information to callers/visitors about the Church’s ministries. Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both over the phone and in person; strong organizational skills; be highly motivated; and be able to assist with a moderate level of physical activities such as facility set up and moving of supplies either with or without reasonable accommodation . Resurrection Downtown Nursery Coordinator (Part-time, Nonexempt)
Resurrection Downtown is seeking an individual to work 10 hours a week overseeing and assisting in the management and leadership of Nursery and Childcare staff and volunteers. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and building meaningful relationships with staff and volunteers; coordinating all details related to programming, and ensuring required training and ministry guidelines are adhered to. This position will work in coordination with the Director of Children’s Ministries to provide strategic planning and vision for the nursery ministry, provide age-appropriate activities and curriculum, oversee nursery supplies, provide input regarding budget planning, and maintain room reservations. Qualified candidates will have a passion for facilitating spiritual growth of children and their families and prior experience in and knowledge of child development and education. Technical Producer (Full-time, Exempt)
The Technical Producer will serve as a liaison between the Technical Arts department and the Worship/Pastoral/Music Ministries in regards to the technical needs and support of weekend worship. This position will attend weekly worship venue planning meetings, manage technical logistics concerning Video, Lighting, Graphics, Audio and Staging as well as directly oversee technical volunteers during assigned weekend worship services. This position will also assist with producing and supporting various special events as assigned. Worship Logistics Coordinating Assistant (Part-time, Nonexempt)
This position will work 10 hours per week providing leadership and oversight of all worship logistics, primarily at our Vibe worship venue. Specifically, the Worship Logistics Coordinating Assistant will lead and support volunteer teams including Greeters, Ushers, Worship Coordinators, Communion Servers, and Attendance Notebook Stuffers; design and implement strategies for large-scale worship events such as Christmas and Easter; provide logistical support for liturgical elements in worship including baptism and Holy Communion; oversee special worship elements by coordinating with Venue Planning, Clergy, Music, Technical Production, Communications and other teams; ensure environment/space of Vibe worship is clean, pleasant and comfortable for the worshiper; maintain orderly back-of-house space; and coordinate with Worship and Guest Services on community building strategies and events for the Vibe worship venue. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with gifts in hospitality and administration. Temporary Facility Maintenance Technician (Full-time, Non-Exempt)
The Facilities Department is seeking someone to work for approximately 2 months setting up for various programs and special events at Church of the Resurrection along with a variety of repair projects. This position requires physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hours will be Sunday through Thursday 7am-3:30pm. Summer Internship Program (Full-time & Part-time, Nonexempt)
This summer, a variety of ministries will offer internships for those interested in identifying and/or cultivating a call to ministry. Through hands-on experience, summer interns will serve in a ministry department and be given specific job responsibilities and ministry goals. In addition, interns will participate in group learning events. Throughout the summer, interns will be exposed to excellent ministry and leaders, allowing them to develop their ministry gifts and leadership skills.
