Pathways to Ministry Coordinator (Part-time, Nonexempt)
The Pathways to Ministry Coordinator will assist with the development and management of the Pathways to Ministry Program. This includes identifying, tracking and supporting candidates for lay and ordained ministry at the children, youth and young adult age levels. In addition, this position will assist the Executive Pastor of Generosity with programs that offer pastoral and lay ministry scholarship funding and development. A key role will be communicating and following up with all those interested in “Exploring the Call to Ministry.” Qualified candidates will have a passion for Resurrection’s strategic priority of “Raising Up a New Generation” of pastoral leaders; possess proven communication, organization and computer skills; and be self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects. This position reports to the Executive Pastor of Generosity.
Web Software Developer (Full-time, Exempt)
This position will develop web applications, design websites/web user interfaces, and support third-party web applications. Successful candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years web development experience using the LAMP platform with technical proficiency in HTML, VB Script, CSS, XML, and SQL. Must be a strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end users. Experience developing software for Microsoft.NET platform and experience with social networking systems and associated web services API’s is a plus. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Network Administrator (Part-time, Exempt)
This position will manage servers, server applications, networks, security, and phone systems plus provide second-tier desktop support. Successful candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least four years current experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange server, and Windows networking including installing, configuring and supporting managed network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and the associated wiring infrastructure. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Campus Communications Specialist (writer/designer) (Part-time, Nonexempt)
This position will oversee and extend the Communications Ministry’s support for Resurrection’s campuses. Support includes coordination of video projects, print materials, web content and delivery of these communications to congregants on each campus. Additionally, this position will assist the Associate Director of Communications through writing, editing and basic design work. Successful candidates will have strong writing and editing skills with experience in graphic design and layout; solid technical skills in standard software applications and experience with Adobe Creative Suite 4 (Photoshop, In Design and Dreamweaver); excellent organizational and relational skills; and the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects. This position reports to the Associate Director of Communications.
Intern for Children’s Ministries (Part-time, Nonexempt)
This internship will last one full year and is an outstanding learning opportunity for individuals who may be considering a career in full-time ministry or Christian education. You will serve in our children’s ministry, known as KiDS COR, alongside a creative and driven staff while gaining the competencies and large-church experience vital to servant leadership in any church setting. Duties include providing leadership/support for KiDS COR programs and events; participation in leadership development, small group discipleship, evangelistic events, and dynamic large group teaching/worship for children. Successful candidates will have prior experience working with school-aged children plus excellent communication and organizational skills.
Congregational Care/Silver Link Intern (Part-time, Exempt)
The Congregational Care/Silver Link Intern will provide support to Silver Link ministries by maintaining and expanding the ministry in independent and assisted living. This will include regular worship services as well as Bible studies, small groups, service projects, and caregiver support. The intern will do hospital visits and provide consistent ongoing care home/in-home pastoral visitation, including hospice. This intern will work closely with the Pastor of Silver Link Ministries and the Congregational Care team as a whole to provide comprehensive spiritual support to the Resurrection community, especially frail older adults and persons with dementia.
