Director of Group Life (Full-time, Exempt)
The Director of Group Life Ministry provides direct leadership and oversight for Church of the Resurrection’s small group ministry as well as discipleship efforts for single adults, young adults, senior adults, and college students. Participation in small groups is key to helping people become deeply committed Christians and live the vision of the church as they move toward Christian maturity and grow in theological information (knowing God), spiritual transformation (loving God) and daily living their faith (serving God). The Director of Group Life Ministry is responsible for developing, championing, and implementing efforts to connect people into small groups, maintain healthy small group leadership, and ensure the spiritual vitality of groups. Successful candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in a related field with additional theological training and education preferred, along with 7+ years demonstrated success in church leadership within a discipleship ministry. Additional qualifications include prior supervision, project management; and understanding and appreciation of the theology and traditions of the United Methodist Church. Learn Events Coordinating Assistant (Part-time, Nonexempt)
This position works 25 hours per week and provides administrative and logistical support for the Alpha course, TBS (Tuesday evening Bible Study) and Men’s ministry. Responsibilities include data entry, registration, childcare reservations, participant tracking, room scheduling/set-up, catering, supplies, and correspondence/mailings. The Coordinating Assistant will also build, encourage, and equip volunteers. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be a self starter who is flexible, efficient, and capable of following projects through to completion, with a passion for helping non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians. Some evening and occasional weekend hours are required.
Coordinating Assistant for Missions Mobilization (Part-time, Nonexempt)
The Missions Mobilization Coordinating Assistant will work 20 hours per week supporting and empowering our congregation in mission service by managing media resources related to missions, conveying large amounts of information to the congregation about missions, and tracking participation in missions. This position requires strong administrative, communication and computer skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively, resolve conflicts quickly and with integrity, as well as the proven ability to work independently, multi-task efficiently and follow projects through to completion with little direct supervision. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team, with the ability to remain cheerful and effective in an environment with frequent, rapid, and last minute changes. Must be able to support multiple projects simultaneously, innovate while working within defined parameters, and comfortable learning new computer applications. Reports to the Missions Mobilization Program Director. Communications Printing Technician (Part-time, Nonexempt)
This position will work 10 hours per week printing a variety of materials including weekly bulletins, bulletin inserts, postcards, church-wide collateral materials and other printed materials for various ministries throughout the church. Qualified candidates will have strong technical skills including high level of comfort with standard Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with design and production tools such as Photoshop and InDesign; familiarity with digital printing; and excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Hours will be in the evenings, after 4pm, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Technical Support Specialist (Full-Time, Exempt)
Seeking a unique IT talent for a challenging and fulfilling entry-level position. Must have excellent personal communication skills including ability to explain technical concepts to end-users. Work in a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of assignments and the opportunity to broaden your IT experience. Current A+ and Network+ certification desired but will consider individuals who are actively working toward certification. Some IT-related college coursework or other professional IT training would be a plus. Lead Network Administrator (Full-time, Exempt)
Seeking an experienced IT professional to lead Resurrection’s IT infrastructure team, managing a virtualized Windows environment and a complex, multi-site WAN with multiple routed subnets. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least four years current experience installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, VMware vSphere, Cisco routers, firewalls, network switches, wireless access points, and structured voice and data cabling.
