Bless the School: Prayer/Hospitality Lead Team
As we continue our ministry of blessing urban schools, this year we will build a new playground and paint and restore classrooms at Troost Elementary. Students, teachers, and staff will be blessed!
You can help bless our volunteers by being a part of the Prayer and Hospitality Lead Team! Please review the requirements and responsibilities below and sign-up online. If you have any questions, contact Deb McCabe at debmccabe@comcast.net or 913-764-5530.
Lead Team Requirements:
- Available during the project timeline to cover at least 15 work shifts, including day shifts (Shift Times: Morning 9am-12pm, Afternoon 1-4pm, Evening 5:30-8:30pm)
- Physically able to climb stairs and carry 15-20 pounds
Prayer/Hospitality Leader Responsibilities:
- Orient hospitality shift volunteers to set up and process
- Set up & replenish hospitality stations throughout locations in the school
- Serve refreshments to volunteers during the shift
- Lead prayer at the beginning of each shift
- Co-ordinate volunteer signing of banners
- Last shift of the day, clean up and store hospitality supplies
- Evaluate hospitality inventory, communicate needs
