Collections: Share the Warmth Drive 10/4-26
Help "share the warmth" for the upcoming cold weather season by donating winter items for individuals and families in need in Kansas City.
When: Saturday, October 4th - Sunday, October 26
Where:
- Central Campus: Drop-off your donations at the Collection Corner in the northwest corner of the Narthex in the bin marked "Share the Warmth."
- ResWest: Drop-off donations in the Bin at the Front Entrance.
We are collecting the following clean and gently used items for men, women and children:
- Coats
- Hats, Scarves, Gloves, Mittens
- Blankets
- Sleeping Bags
If you don't have any used items to donate this year, but would still like to help, please call Kathy Durkee for idea about other ways to help!
The donations for the drive will be sorted and bagged the week of November 3rd. If you'd like to help with this event, contact Kathy or Jeanie (see contact info below).
The items collected from this drive will be distributed to the following ministry partners:
- A Child's Hope - Foster, Adopt, and Support
- Community LINC
- Central Uunited Methodist Church
- Grand Avenue Temple
- Hope Faith
- Metropolitan United Methodist Church
- Spofford Children's Home
- Valley View United Methodist Church
