Collections: Clothing, Etc. Ministry
The Clothing, Etc. Ministry collects and distributes clothing and household goods to those in need in our community and the urban core. All donations are sorted to ensure that clothing is in good condition, modest, in style and ready to wear. Gently used, in-season clothing and useful household goods are regularly distributed to over 20 local pantries and ministry partners.
The sorting team meets: Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning, 9:00 – 11:00am.
Join the team and help sort the large quantity of donations dropped off at the church every week. Fun, fellowship and sorting occurs on weekday mornings in our specially designed space located in the basement of the west building.
Drivers are needed to help delivler clothing and household goods donated through the Collection Connection Ministry to urban ministries in the Kansas City area. Drivers use their own vehicles for deliveries on weekdays and occasional weekends on an as needed basis.
