Grief Ministry

Grief Ministry Offers Care, Support and Hope for you or someone you know who has experienced the death of a loved one. 

This class is designed to give tools to move through the grief of a loved one and to return to a healthy balanced life.

February 4 – March 11, 2009

April 15 – May 20, 2009

6 - 8 pm; Room 2201

Beginning at 6 pm with a light supper, followed by teaching at 6:30 pm. 

These sessions stress confidentiality and support and include educational presentations, resource identification and building a social network with others who have shared similar experiences.

Week 2- Journey of Grief
Week 3- Why?
Week 4 – Relationships and Grief / Forgiveness
Week 5- Stuck in Grief
Week 6- Heaven and Hope 

Each week the teaching time will be followed by small group discussion.  Each small group will focus around a specific type of grief.

  • Women’s Grief
  • Suicide/Traumatic Loss
  • Child Loss
  • Men’s Grief
