Hunger: Hunger Ministry Info Meeting 2/18

If you are ready to join in with the hundreds of people who are working to stomp out Hunger in Kansas City, then joins us for this Hunger Ministry Info Meeting! 

When: Thursday, February 18, 2010

Where: Room 407, East Building

Who:  Anyone who is interested in fighting hunger in KC by donating, collecting, or serving with one or Resurrection's many Hunger Ministries.

What: A fun, informal gathering to learn all the ways that Resurrection is working to combat hunger.  We will talk about each of our Hunger Ministries:

  • Hunger Stoppers
  • Food Drives
  • Backpacks for Hunger
  • Serving Urban Meals
  • Bread Ministry
  • Sack Lunch Ministry
  • Feed the People

We are dreaming of the day when we can call Kansas City the first “hunger-free” city.  With all of the talent and resources at Resurrection, we believe this can become a reality.  However, it can only happen with an army of leaders and volunteers.  We hope you will join us in the fight against hunger.
