Hunger: Souper Bowl Food Drive 2010
There have been numerous stories of people struggling to feed their families and food pantry shelves that are bare in this economy. This year, more than ever, we can make a substantial difference to those who are hungry by donating, collecting, and delivering food throughout the city.
Needed Items
- Chunky/Progresso Soup
- Canned Vegatables
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Meats (tuna, chicken etc)
- Peanut Butter
- Cereal
Expired food, dented cans, and glass containers cannot be accepted. Please check dates before donating.
How to Help:
- Donations
o Accepted Sat, January 23rd – Sun, March 1st
o Bring food items to donate anytime the church is open - Sorting & Boxing
o Begins Mon, February 1st – Mon, February 22nd
o Sign-up for a shift to sort & box donated items - Deliveries
o Made Wed, February 24th – Sat February 27th
o Register to make deliveries to local food pantries

Where:
- Food Donations: Place on the wire racks in the Narthex during the week or on weekends January and February.
- Cash Donations: Use the SouperBowl Envelopes in the seat backs and place in the offering plate.
