The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection Foundation is pleased to offer this free seminar to assist you in your estate planning from a biblical perspective.
Executive Pastor Clayton Smith will present a devotional message followed by an estate planning seminar by Scott Blakesley.
Mr. Blakesley is a Partner in the law firm of Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP, and part of the of the Estate Planning, Trusts & Estates practice group. Throughout his legal career, Scott has focused his practice on estate planning and tax matters, specifically including estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, income taxation of trusts and estates, tax-exempt organizations, charitable planned giving and individual and business tax planning. Scott is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Council; included on the list of Best Lawyers in America; a member and past President of the National Committee on Planned Giving; and a member of both the Tax Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. Scott and his family are active members at Resurrection, and he is a frequent speaker on estate planning, charitable giving and other tax subjects to various professional and civic groups.
