Prayer Shawl Knitters

Explore knitting as a prayer experience! The prayer shawl knitters provide hand made prayer shawls and lap blankets used by the Congregational Care pastors to bless congregants who are hospitalized or experiencing a crisis.

The Prayer Shawl knitters gather for knitting and prayer on the first and third Monday of each month, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in The Spring Cafe. Devotions are provided to aid in combining knitting and prayer.

Knitters who are not able to attend the group meetings can still knit prayer shawls and use the devotions to explore the combination of knitting and prayer. Click here to download the prayer shawl knitting devotions, and basic patterns.
