Connections Ministry Re-Connection Team
We reach out to Resurrection members who have been unable to attend worship recently by extending a message of love and concern and also providing information about opportunities to get connected at Resurrection. This team creates a small church in a ‘big church’ environment!
Pre-requisites for this role are membership at Resurrection and a caring heart for people. Please contact us for more information and to interview.
Schedule: Moderate, 1 hour per week, serving from home, quarterly training meetings and fellowship events.

Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom.
Skills frequently found in persons serving on this team include:

Re-Connection Team Purpose ~ Re-connecting inactive church members into the life of the church where they are supported compassionately, growing theologically, experiencing community, and serving joyfully on the journey to becoming deeply committed Christians.
Scriptural Support ~ Luke 15:3-6 – Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ ”
