Guest Services: Willow Creek Leadership Summit Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like to welcome and assist our many guests who will attend Resurrection's satellite location of the 2008 Willow Creek Leadership Summit?  If so, please let us know when and how you'd like to help by registering online (link at right).

The conference will be held Thursday-Friday, August 7-8 this year.

Volunteer Positions:

  • Greeter:  Stand at one of our entrances to greet and direct our guests as they arrive.
  • Break Host: Tray the snacks and deliver them to the break stations in the Narthex; wipe off bottled/canned drinks for our guests.  Help clean up the stations after the break.
  • Info Desk:  Answer questions about the conference, places to eat and Church of the Resurrection.
  • Usher:  Welcome our guests as they enter the Sanctuary by helping them find a seat; also tidy up your section(s) at the end of the session in preparation for the next one.
  • C.A.R.T.:  Be on stand-by in the Sanctuary to assist our congregants during a medical crisis until Johnson County emergency medical personnel arrive.  Requirement:  you must be a current member of our Cardiac Arrest Response Team for this position.
  • MediCall: Be on stand-by in the Sanctuary to assist our congregants during a medical crisis until Johnson County emergency medical personnel arrive.  Requirement:  you must be a current member of our MediCall Team for this position.
  • Volunteer Central:  Set up and host the break room for all our volunteers.
  • Lunch Registration:  Register our guests for Thursday and Friday lunches.
  • Lunch Host:  Help set up and distribute boxed lunches to our guests.
  • Tear Down:  Help pack up materials from the conference.
