KiDS COR: VBC 2010 Volunteer Registration
Adult and Youth volunteers needed!
Volunteer registration begins February 14, 2010
We need several hundred volunteers to make VBC happen for the 1200 children who will attend. We need people to help behind the scenes, in the classroom, with snack, craft, recreation and more. Give it a try, you’ll find out how much fun VBC can be! Classroom teachers are provided with ALL the materials they need (simple, easy to follow lesson plans for each day, activity packets for each child, supplies for in-room activities and at least 2 other adult volunteers and 1-2 youth volunteers to serve with them). It is easy and very rewarding.
Why sign up to volunteer today?
- You will make it possible for children to attend VBC this summer.
- Volunteers can register their own children now guaranteeing them a spot in camp. Registration for children without volunteers begins April 1, 2010.
- Volunteers who have children younger than current Kindergarten -5th grade are able to register them for camp. Children 2 and younger have free nursery care, children 2 – pre-K will have their own mini-version of VBC (same t-shirt and snacks, different craft and recreation, similar lesson plan and awesome puppets!).
- Limited number of spots in certain areas – make sure you get your first choice.
- Don’t you want to learn more about Moses? The 10 commandments? God’s plan for the Israelite people and His plan for your life?
Here is the information you’ll want to know about camp:
June 14 - 18, 2010
Morning session 8:30-11:30 (for children currently in Kindergarten through 3rd grade)
Afternoon session 12:30-3:30 (for children currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade)
