Mark it on your calendar so you won’t miss the Community Carnival and Car show! This FREE fun family-friendly event not only showcases cool cars but also supports Resurrection Hunger Ministry and Bookmobile. Bring your car, sponsor the event or just come for the fun!
This year’s event combines the annual car show with a carnival atmosphere highlighting food trucks, live music, games and activities for kids of all ages, a family-friendly movie, special guests, and more! Visit this page regularly to see the new activities being added.
7:30 am: Gates Open for Car Show Registrants
10 am – 3 pm: Public Welcome (Be sure to get a ticket to vote for your favorite car!)
10 am – 1 pm Food Court Open with food trucks offering hot and cold drinks, snacks, sweets, and lunch options
1 PM: Car Show Award Winners Announced
1 PM: Movie & Popcorn in the Foundry (indoors)
Sign up to show your car today! Choose from student (FREE!), display, and judged entries. Awards will be provided to judged entries in TEN classes. There will also be one award for Pastor’s Pick and one for People’s Choice. Exhibitors can choose from multiple classes including Foreign and Domestic Sports Cars, Modified, Stock and Muscle!
Sign up to volunteer at the event! We are looking for people interested in judging the car show, checking-in participants, directing traffic, welcoming guests and more.
Sponsor the event! Individuals and businesses of all sizes can support the event and two mission projects that are fully tax deductible. Proceeds from the event will benefit Resurrection’s Hunger Ministry and Bookmobile serving neighbors throughout the Kansas City metro. You can learn more about those ministries by clicking here! All donations are welcome and appreciated! Contributions of $250 or more will be recognized online, on event signage, and at the awards ceremony.
Weather – The Community Carnival and Car Show is a rain or shine event. We will post any updates on this webpage. If the event must be cancelled for severe weather, we will notify registrants by email the morning of the event and invite you all back to next year’s event!
