Pricing & Registration Information

This Register Here link will take you to our larger Leadership Institute registration. There you can input your information and have an opportunity to register for the Contemporary Worship Institute only. Any questions call Laura Cooper at 913-544-0753.

This conference is for Worship Leaders, Pastors and Musicians from churches of any denomination and size, interested in using contemporary music and technology as a part of their worship experience.

Song Writer, Worship Leader Paul Baloche will be in concert Tuesday evening with his band, composed of some of the nations leading worship musicians. The following day Paul will give the Keynote address and his band will be conducting two clinics. In the first Paul will work with his band to demonstrate proper directing techniques. The second will be Paul's band giving instruction on their individual instruments. It is an ideal opportunity for worship directors and their musicians to receive training together, and then break out to drill down on their individual instruments.

Len Wilson and Jason Moore will lead a General Session on Experiencing God through Art in Worship.

Regardless of our style, much of worship is built for our cerebrums. The use of contemporary art – the images of everyday lives - in worship gives us an opportunity to experience God with heart, mind and soul, where the big idea is woven together in every aspect of worship. Learn how to immerse your congregational worship in a transformative experience of God that both edifies and calls.

Lance Winkler Director of Contemporary Worship at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection will be presenting a plenary utilizing his ministry team to take you through the various worship revolutions ending with examples of today’s differing styles of contemporary worship.

On Wednesday evening, there are optional activities that you are invited to participate in.

  • Rezlife, our Student Ministries Youth Group, will open it’s doors to the CWI attendees for you to experience their powerful and innovative style of worship.
  • Church of the Resurrection's Traditional Music department's rehearsal conducted by Kevin Bogan.
  • A Praise Choir/Contemporary Vocal session conducted by Alison Ebright director of Church of the Resurrection contemporary vocal ministry.
  • Song writers workshop conducted by Lance Winkler and guest TBA.

Lastly, you can just take the night off and experience Kansas City, if you wish.
