Connection Ministry—Front to Back
Get connected! Connections Ministry serves as an information resource through effective processes and dynamic teams.  From the ‘front door’ visitor to the ‘back door’ member drifting away, Connections Ministry teams exist to care for and connect each member of the church family into the life of the church beyond worship. Connections Ministry staff and lay leadership will cover the roles and processes of various connections teams such as 3-Visit, New Member, Ministry Connector, and worship Connection Point teams with an opportunity for Q&A and interaction with fellow participants.

Small Group Ministry- Building a Small Group Ministry in the Small Church
This workshop is designed to help lay leaders and staff working with smaller congregations to identify strategies for launching and growing a robust small group ministry. The workshop will include an analysis of survey responses provided by existing United Methodist congregations (300 or less in worship), examining the unique challenges faced by these churches and the best practices they have used in small group ministry. In addition, the workshop will include an examination of solutions developed at Resurrection that can be applied to any congregation.

This workshop will review the practices and solutions developed to support Resurrection’s small groups. New group start-up, curriculum, missions, leader training, and group goals will be reviewed. In addition, the session will include time to dialogue with other church leaders and Resurrection’s Group Life team.
