In this workshop participants will review Resurrection’s step-by-step process of a visitor’s experience before they enter the building to following up with them after their first visit and beyond.  Many of the ministries in Guest Services have been in place since Resurrection’s inception and can be easily tailored to fit any size church.  You will be provided specific “how to” information on planning and preparing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and members, running a smooth, supportive worship team, and the importance of follow up.  Join us in this workshop for some practical “takeaways” on how Resurrection practices hospitality!

The pastor/administrative assistant relationship is a vital relationship in helping the pastor stay informed, in touch, prepared, and on time.  This workshop will provide first-hand information on how to develop a dynamic working relationship that positively impacts the ministry of the senior pastor as well as the overall ministries of the church.  This workshop will provide guiding principles and suggestions is for anyone that provides administrative support to a person who leads a ministry.  This workshop is for pastors and ministry directors and their assistants/secretaries.

Planning and Launching New Satellite Worship
In August of 2006 Church of the Resurrection launched its first satellite location 20 miles from the original campus and in August 2008 launched a new worship venue at the original campus.  Hear some of the lessons learned though these launch processes and what we are doing to plan for the launch of other campuses.  We will focus on the practical lessons learned and the process we have developed for planning and launching our additional venues.
