Building and Leading a Volunteer Based Contemporary Music Ministry
In this workshop, participants will discover practical and creative ways of recruiting and maintaining a volunteer music ministry. There will be a focus on how to keep the team connected to the local church’s mission and vision, as well as how to shepherd and teach gifted musicians to “lead” a congregation. Everything from choosing the best songs for your congregation, managing conflict and avoiding The Diva Complex, to ways to keep your ministry fresh and exciting will be discussed in this comprehensive music ministry workshop. This is a great opportunity to find some creative ways to give a boost to one’s existing music ministry, as well as a great tool for those who are looking to begin a music ministry.
