Building and Leading a Volunteer Based Contemporary Music Ministry
In this workshop, participants will discover practical and creative ways of recruiting and maintaining a volunteer contemporary music ministry. There will be a focus on how to keep the team connected to the local church’s mission and vision, as well as how to shepherd and teach gifted musicians to "lead" a congregation. Everything from choosing the best songs for your congregation, managing conflict and avoiding The Diva Complex, to developing the charts for the musicians to read will be discussed in this comprehensive contemporary music ministry workshop. This is a great opportunity to find some fresh and creative ways to give a boost to one’s existing music ministry, as well as a great tool for those who are looking to begin a contemporary music ministry.
