Meet Your Bible: New Testament

All sections are led by Darrell Holtz. Choose to join us for all 12 weeks or pick any of the 3 sections you want to learn more about. Registration is suggested for all three classes.

We’ll use the CEB Study Bible, offered to all new Resurrection members for free, as the basis for this study, but it will be helpful no matter which translation and study Bible you use.

Section 3: New Testament

Survey how the New Testament carries on and completes God’s “big story” of redemption, and see how letters, gospels and the vision of Revelation each do their part in carrying the story to its triumphant completion.

4 weeks: Tuesdays 5/31 – 6/28 | 6:30-8:30pm | Room B214 | Building B | No class 6/14

Visit cor.org/grownight for information on all three sections!

Boomers Tour of Kauffman Stadium!

Saturday, June 4th

Join us as we’ll take a tour of the amazing Kauffman Stadium!  More details will follow as we get closer.

If you have questions or would like to register now , contact Genease Gornowicz.

There will be a $15 fee and it will begin at 10:15am with an optional lunch afterwards.

Want some info about the stadium?  Check this out:

Opened as Royals Stadium on April 10, 1973. It is currently the only ballpark in the American League to be named after a person, Ewing Kauffman; and endearingly referred to as "The K."

Kauffman Stadium is recognized throughout baseball as one of the game's most beautiful ballparks. Kauffman Stadium was built specifically for baseball during an era where building multisport "cookie-cutter" stadiums were commonplace. It is often held up along with Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles as one of the best examples of modernist stadium design.
