Positive Parenting

Sundays, 10:30am at 1508 Grand, Room 210 | 3-week Class | Beginning September 25

It’s a negative world and often a hard place to be positive, especially when parenting.  Stress, jobs, activities and more make it difficult to raise our children in a positive way.  Be a part of this study led by Justin Bastin, a licensed therapist, who will help you create strategies for raising your child(ren) in an uplifting fashion for both you and your child!

Childcare will be available at 1522 McGee in KiDSCOR, while you attend these classes at 1508 Grand.  (Children’s programming will be available all morning for both the worship services and this 10:30am class.)

For questions contact Justin Bastin. Registration is required below.

Bedtime in a Bag

Join us as we distribute Bedtime Bags to the students at Garfield Elementary!  Volunteers will talk to the students about the bedtime routine, read a story or play games and serve a snack.  Students will complete a short survey to identify where they sleep.  The Beds Ministry uses this information to determine children that will receive a bed that do not have one of their own.  Each student receives a recyclable bag containing a new pair of socks, book, throw blanket, toothbrush and toothpaste.....all the essentials for a bedtime routine!

TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY: THE PROPHETS OF ISRAEL

Tuesdays 9/6 – 10/11 | 7:00-8:30pm | Student Center | Building C | No class 9/27
Also offered on live-stream: http://online.cor.org

What if God were to deliver a message to the world, or closer to home, the church today? What would He say and what might be His biggest concerns? Perhaps God has already spoken to us through the voice of the prophets of Israel. What were the men with names like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel saying to the people of Israel and why does it matter to us today?
