Collections: Cars Ministry

The purpose of Resurrection's Car Ministry is to provide repairs to cars owned by qualified individuals who have no other means of transportation and could otherwise not afford to get their vehicle repaired. Teams of skilled mechanics and mechanics-in-training perform the repairs at a donated professional facility.

Serving Opportunities

Join a Car Repair Team: Join a repair team and participate every other week at the repair facility at 88th and Metcalf in Overland Park.  Individual teams are forming based on schedules and skillsets.  Teams will meet from 6pm to 9pm on a specific night of the week or on Saturday morning.  Those with all levels of experience are needed, including those who are just eager to learn and support.

Provide Administrative Assistance: In order to keep costs low and help the most people possible, many parts are purchased online while others through local retailer.  Assistance in identifying and procuring parts (and associated book-keeping) is needed!
