Disaster Response: C.E.R.T. Training March 15-May 3, 2012

What is CERT?

Community Emergency Response Team. As a part of Resurrection Reach & Restore's goal to become first responders in the aftermath of natural disasters and crisis, we are now forming C.E.R.T. Teams.  These Community Emergency Response Teams (C.E.R.T.) go through training exercises to learn how to respond in a disaster are dispatched as a team working with the fire department.  For upcoming training, please review event dates or contact us at the information below.

Training Dates

Captain Nicely of the Leawood Fire Department will be holding CERT training classes for Church of the Resurrection March 15 - May 3, 2012. The final drill will be held in May. The specific date for the final drill is TBD. 

When: Every Thursday for 8 weeks March 15-May 3, 2012 6:30-9:00 pm

Where: Leawood Fire Station #3  148th and Mission Road

Cost:  $30-$50 to be paid at training
