Disaster Response: CPR/FirstAid/AED Training 3/24/12

When: Saturday, March 24, 9:00-1:30 pm.

Where: Leawood Campus, West Bldg. Rm 2203

Cost: $45 per person; bring cash or check; each participant should provide their own lunch.

Who: Those interested in becoming part of Resurrection's first response team through Reach & Restore are encouraged to attend this course but it is not limited to this ministry.  It is open to anyone who wants to learn for the first time or needs a refresher course.

Class Description:

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course provides certification in Adult First Aid, Environmental Emergencies, Adult/Child CPR with Mask, Adult/Child AED, and Infant CPR with Mask.  The course covers Basic First Aid, Medical Emergencies such as choking, heart attack and stroke, Injury Emergencies such as wounds, spinal injury, fractures and burns, Environmental Emergencies such as snake bite, bee stings, heat stroke and poisoning, use of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on Adults, Children, and Infants, and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on Adults and Children.
