Education: YouthFriends Training to Tutor in Schools 2/13
What: Youthfriends Training to tutor children grades K-8 at one of the 6 urban school locations (Quindaro, Ridgeview, Troost, Ridgeview, Wendell Phillips, Wheatley). Help them improve their reading and math skills. Those interested in being classroom assistants and teacher's aides also can attend this training.

When: Mon., February 13, 4:30-6pm
Where: Room 2210, West Bldg (upstairs), Leawood Campus
Ages: Tutors must be 18 years and older
Additional Training Requirement: Urban Volunteer Training is required of all volunteers serving on an ongoing basis. Trainings are an hour and half and will equip volutneers with basic do's and don'ts for serving in the Urban Core. Sign-up here for one of the following upcoming trainings:

Other Training Date Options: If you cannot attend this training and would like to tutor in the schools, you can attend a Youthfriends Training at various locations in the community. Visit the YouthFriends website for training dates and locations.
