Foster/Adopt: "New House Event" 5/5

Would you like to help area foster teens get started on the road to adulthood?  Now you can help!  A Child's Hope is sponsoring an event for foster teenagers who are aging out of foster care.  The event, called "This New House", seeks to celebrate the accomplishments of these new high school graduates while supplying them with needed household items  they will use while living on their own.
 
A Child's Hope is collecting new goods donations for this event now, through April 30.  If you'd like to help, please see the list of items below, purchase the item at a store of your choice,  then drop the item off at the northwest corner of the Narthex marked, "ACH".   Please drop off your donations by April 30. 
 
The following donations are needed:

• Bed Blanket - solid colors
• Sheets Set.  Size twin - solid colors
• Bath Towel Set - solid colors
• Kitchen Towels
• 8 or 10 inch Fry Pan
• 2 qt Stock Pot
• Baking/Cookie Sheets
• Knives/Forks/Spoons Set

Where: Drop off donations in the designated bins in the northwest corner of the Narthex in the West Building

Thank you for your help in bring joy to these teens as they make their way from the foster care system.

Our vision is to find qualified, loving families for all 900 children in Kansas foster care who need a forever family.
