Foster/Adopt: Parents Helping Parents & Totally FAB Kids Night 4/14

A Child’s Hope Ministry invites you to attend Parents Helping Parents (A foster/adoptive parent support group) and our Totally FAB Kids Night (FAB = Foster, Adoptive and Biological Kids).   Come fellowship and learn with other foster and foster/adopt families.  

When: Saturday, April 14 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Speaker: Chad Hoffman, youthcare worker and house manager for TLC; in-home therapist for DCCCA and school counselor in Olathe School District. Chad has a BA in Sociology and two Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Educational Specialist in Counseling and Guidance.

Dinner:  Pizza (cheese & pepperoni), Soda, and Water will be provided for both the parents and the children.

Parents Helping Parents

Our primary goal for Parents Helping Parents is to get foster/adoptive parents together to create a sense of community among people who have dedicated their lives to fostering and adopting orphans and children in need.  We want you to learn from one another and support one another on your journey.  This group will be self governed by foster/adoptive parents and the goals/agendas for each meeting will be set by the parents.  If you do not yet have a foster placement, we would still like to have you join the tour at the student center.  

Totally FAB Kids Night

While parents have their own meeting, your foster, adoptive and biological kids will have a fun night in the student center.  We know your ability to participate is greatly impacted by your children’s happiness so our primary goal is to create a fun and meaningful two hours for your children.  Activities will be planned for children birth through middle school but high school children are welcome to attend and help out too!  Please register online.
