Group Life
The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. We were created for connection – with God and with one another. Yet each of us must take our own path, one where God is leading us to grow deeper in faith and become more like Him each day. At Resurrection, we call that path The Journey, where we are growing to be more like Christ by knowing, loving, and serving God and others. Resurrection’s Group Life Ministry is designed to help each of us as we take our Journey. The purpose of the ministry is to help people become deeply committed Christians by providing a safe and supportive environment, led by the Holy Spirit, where group members encourage and challenge each other to deepen their faith and live out their calling in the world. We invite you to say “yes” to the amazing Journey that God has planned for you. Below is some key information that will help you get started.

Disciple Bible Study is Resurrection’s most popular Bible study with over 4,500 people completing the study over the last 15 years. What makes Disciple such a great study?
- Disciple gives you the big picture overview of the Bible and helps new readers make sense of the awe-inspiring book.
- Disciple lays out a daily reading plan which helps develop a daily time experiencing Christ reading God's Word.
- Disciple is a discussion-based study where you learn how God has spoken to each person in your small group and learn from others and they learn from you.

How do I sign up for Sunday School?
Rather than offering a traditional classroom “Sunday School” experience, Group Life offers multiple small groups that meet onsite each Sunday morning. Like all of our small groups, members are expected to encourage and challenge each other to deepen their faith and live out their calling in the world.
You can connect with our Sunday Morning groups by doing one of the following:
1. Review this list of open groups and then complete our online interest form.
2. Visit us this Sunday at our Hospitality Room! Join us on Sunday mornings between 8:45 - 9:00 am or 10:30 – 10:45am in our Hospitality Room (East Building Room 221). Existing group members meet here for coffee and donuts before going to their meeting rooms, and each week our staff will be there to meet with you, discuss the ministry in detail, and talk with you to determine the next steps.
3. Email Teresa Provost, our Ministry Connections Coordinator, at teresa.provost@cor.org.
