Leadership Development trains and encourages leadership to equip our church body for ministry. Our mission? We are committed to model Jesus Christ’s servant-leadership as we equip and encourage called, gifted leaders that are focused on continual growth and the purpose, vision, and values of Church of the Resurrection.

Wesley Academy

If you are looking to go deeper in your faith and understanding of God, Wesley Academy Is for you.

Drawing together world class theologians to present live in-depth teaching at our Leawood Campus, the Academy will explore the essentials of Christian theology.  Topics Include: the nature and richness of the Christian scriptures, the history of the church, and the distinctives of the Methodist movement. Willow Creek Leadership Summit

  • Designed for all Christians, The Leadership Summit is an organic movement connecting thousands through leadership development for the sake of the Church. The Summit is broadcast live via satellite from the campus of Willow Creek Community Church to 140+ host sites in North America. Our faculty of expert leaders and thinkers have been selected to stretch your thinking and deliver practical skills to help you navigate the shifting realities of your world.     Annual Church Gathering

    • Each year in January, the entire congregation is invited to our annual gathering. The event includes fellowship and conversation as we look back over the past year and celebrate God's work in and through our ministries. Then, our Senior Pastor and church leaders share where they believe we are headed in the coming year.
