There's a Group for That

If you and your relationships are struggling from perfectionism, pride, stress , low self-esteem, anger or more... There’s a group for that.

If you're grappling with gambling, overspending, food issues, co-dependency or judging others or yourself... There’s a group for that.

If you wrestle with workaholism, alcoholism, lust, drugs or abuse... There’s a group for that.

Celebrate Recovery is for anyone looking for a direction change. This ministry for adults meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm, and is practical, confidential and encouraging, utilizing Biblical lessons to help people find the joyful life God wants for them.

Celebrate Recovery Helps in Three Ways

  1. Thursday Night Meetings (6:30 pm)

Thursday Nights: Large Group Worship (typically 125 people) combines great music with lessons on how to take the next step in your journey to a place of greater joy and improved relationships. The lessons alternate between a teaching by Pastor Steven Blair and a story told by someone who is in the process of changing. Following Large Group Worship, people move to Share Groups, gender-specific small groups that are also issue-specific. There, participants can choose to answer the focus question to help them process their own journey, or they can say “pass” and choose to refrain from sharing. Come for the worship and stay for the groups.

Thursday meetings begin with fellowship and pizza at 6 pm. Click on "Thursday Evening Schedule" below for more details.

  2. Step Studies (optional)

Some people choose to go deeper by participating as part of a Step Study, a second group that meets at another time during the week. This is an optional supplement to weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings.

  3. One-on-One Meetings (optional)

Participants can choose to initiate a one-on-one relationship with someone of the same gender to further growth support. This is an optional supplement to weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings.

What to Expect at Your First Meeting

  1. Information for Newcomers

You can expect to be greeted warmly and to have your confidentiality protected. Newcomers join the Large Group Worship time with the rest of the group then attend a Newcomers Class. The one-time Newcomers Class is a half-informational, half-conversational session where participants can have their questions answered. On week two, Newcomers can join a gender-specific Share Group that interests them.
