Job Coach Program
Welcome to the Job Coach Program at Church of the Resurrection.
This program, in conjunction with the Employment Transition Group, is a member of the Greater Kansas City Job Clubs (www.jccc.edu/jobclubs).
The Job Coach Program is intended to provide one on one Coaching that is managed and guided by your specific needs. Volunteer professionals will provide 3 one hour sessions to help you with your job search process. You can choose to have all 3 sessions on one topic, or target all 3 topics for additional education and development.
There are 3 topics you can choose from:
- Resume Review and Development
- Interviewing skills
- Networking Skills and Strategies/Social Media
You and your coach will guide your sessions. Some tasks or follow up assignments may occur as needed to maximize the effectiveness of your sessions.
By selecting “I AGREE” at the bottom of the page, you will be redirected to the Job Coaching Request form that you will need to complete. Once you have completed and submitted the application, you will be contacted by an administrator at Church of the Resurrection within 3 business days. After a brief review and confirmation of your application, the application will be forwarded to the next available job coach, who will, based on your selected preferences for contact, reach out to you to set up your first appointment.
What the Job Coach Program does not provide:
- A professional career counseling service
- Any guarantees or commitment to finding a job
- A placement service
