Volunteers

Volunteers are a crucial part of the pastoral care team for ministry with the frail.  There are opportunities for all members of a church family to serve the frail in a way that honors the volunteer’s own spiritual gifts, available time, and level of comfort and subsequently honors those they serve.  Important elements for volunteers are excellent frailty/dementia communication skills and training/support for their particular area of service.  Here is information for volunteer opportunities, training, support, and communication.
