Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one way we draw near to God. Whether you are in need of special prayer, are looking to pray for others, or want to learn how to pray, Resurrection's Prayer Ministry wants to support, guide and walk alongside you as you grow deeper in your prayer life, wherever you are in your journey of faith.

Make a Prayer Request

Submit a prayer request using our online request form or by calling the Prayer Ministry office. Prayer request cards are also available in the attendance notebooks during worship. Click here to see who prays over your request.

Pray for Others

Pray for people with with ongoing medical concerns or for active military members from our congregation. Or, join one of our ongoing prayer teams and receive prayer requests each week via email. Volunteer opportunities are listed on the right side of this page.

Prayer Before Surgery

Pastors are available to pray with you and your family before surgery, or during hospitalization. Please contact the Congregational Care office at 913-544-0238 or by emailing our prayer team with the date, time, and hospital where you will be having your surgery. Due to HIPPA regulations, the hospital will not call and inform the church of your hospitalization.

Firestone Prayer Chapel

The Firestone Prayer Chapel, located in the West Building, is open daily for quiet prayer from 7 am until 10 pm. Prayer, communion and anointing are available in this chapel following each weekend worship service.
