The Connection Point

The Connection Point is your best portal of entry into the life of the church. Whether you are ready to learn, to serve or in need of support - the volunteers at the Connection Point can be your guides. Located near the south doors in the Narthex of the West Building, you may stop by before or after worship services year round to meet with a member of this dedicated team. The Guest Services team is eager to help you, and have timely program and service listings to help you get connected.

The Journey

Some journeys are exhilarating, some are relaxing, and some can be strenuous. Our faith journey doesn’t have to be complicated, if we take the time to focus on what is important — knowing, loving and serving God.

Worship is just the beginning!
For many, a worship service is the first step on this journey of faith. Maybe you’ve been attending Resurrection for two weeks, or maybe ten years.  Maybe you’ve already tried a few things; maybe you’ve just come each week and worshipped quietly. We are convinced that life is made richer, more joy-filled, and more meaningful when you decide to become actively involved in the life of the church.

Taking the next step in your JOURNEY of faith...
The best way to connect with others, build authentic relationships, grow in your faith and make a difference in the world is in the environment of authentic community.

If you're just getting started, we suggest Discover Resurrection. This single session course will orient you to our church, in light of our unique United Methodist heritage.  If you are looking for an overview of the Christian faith or are looking for answers to your faith questions, sign up for The Alpha Course.  Each of the ten weekly sessions consists of a talk addressing a key issue related to the Christian faith. Alpha is a place where any and all questions are welcomed - no question is too simple or too controversial. Alpha is for everyone, whether you’re just beginning to explore Christianity or you’ve been a Christian for years.

We offer three Journey 101 classes, one focused on Knowing God, one focused on Loving God, and one focused on Serving God. These interactive, six-week sessions are led by experienced teachers, and designed to teach you how to become a deeply committed Christian.

On-Campus Community Life includes Men’s, Women’s, Singles, Young Adult or Workplace Community Life Groups. These offer additional ways to explore the faith and connect with others.

Commit to Group Life
At Resurrection, we know one of the most effective ways to nurture your growing relationship with Jesus Christ is to belong to a small group of Christian friends who encourage, challenge and support you as you discern and live out your life mission. We’ll help you find a group best suited for you based on where you live, your interests, or your life situation.  Group Life has a variety of groups—we’re positive there’s one that will be a great place for you to belong, grow and serve.
