Neighborhood Network
Connect where you live.
We have many Resurrection folks asking the question, literally, “Who is my neighbor?” A program has been developed to help you get to know and build relationships with others who live in your neighborhood and also attend our church. Neighborhood Networks are one-time, informal social gatherings of people in your neighborhood – no long term commitments – just food, fellowship, and fun. We’ll provide the ideas, send the invitations, and help with planning and implementation.
How does it work?
The church will identify Resurrection members in your neighborhood, send and manage the invitations on your behalf. As your neighbors respond, the church will provide a list of those who will be attending. We will also provide you with a simple “event-in-a-box” with ideas for ice-breakers, a prayer to offer before the meal and a list of upcoming events to spark interest in continuing to build fellowship.
I’m intrigued. Now what?
There will be a Neighborhood Network information meeting on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in room 2207 from 6:30-8:00 in the West building. If you plan to attend please click here to register.
