Sports and Recreation ministry helps to foster Christian fellowship, builds relationships among church members, and offers the opportunity for athletic competition as a Christian competitor in local recreational leagues.

All Church Events -

The Sports & Recreation Ministry would like to organize a tennis tournament to be held at a local indoor facility. Date of such event as yet to be determined. There will be 5 different divisions in the tournament. Drills and cardio tennis will be available for those not making the finals. Some tennis activities will be run for children during the finals matches. Please help us determine the interest level of this event by filling out the "Tennis Tournament Interest Survey."

• Wednesday Evening Golf League - Relax and enjoy an evening round of golf with friends. The Church of the Resurrection Golf League will begin late April or early May, run throughout the summer or later, start times at 5:00pm, and played at Ironhorse Golf Club. A couples league may also be formed depending upon interest. Cost is $25 for golf and cart. If interested, please contact Rodney Martin at  rodneygmartinPGA@gmail.com.
• Ladies Tennis Group - If you love to play tennis but have a hard time finding partners and opponents, then this is for you.  We can supply you with a list of COR players according to playing level (include your NTRP rating if you have one) and time preference (days or evenings). • Adult Rec Softball - 2012 Summer Coed Softball - Coed single-header leagues start Sunday, 6/3, run 10 weeks, game times 2:00-10:00pm, played at Blue Valley Recreation Complex (137th & Antioch), and cost $52.00 per player. • Coed Volleyball — 2012 Winter Coed Volleyball -Teams Are Full- The season runs Sunday, 1/8/12-3/4/12, played at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center (119th & Lowell), cost $37.00 per player, and game times are 2:30-7:00pm.  Register individually or as a team. • Coed Kickball – 2012 Summer Coed Kickball - The summer season starts Sunday, 6/3, runs 5 weeks, played at Blue Valley Recreation Complex (137th & Antioch), and cost $21.00 per player. • COR Car Show – July 14, 2012 – Open to church members, local car clubs, and anyone with that cherry of a machine wanting to be displayed. • Pick-Up Basketball – Adult men's pick-up basketball on Monday and Thursday nights. See the Fall 2011 and Winter 2011-2012 schedule.  Contact Brooke Nienstedt or Brad Chalker for additional details.
• Dodgeball - 2012 Coed and Men’s Dodgeball - Teams are full - The season runs Sunday, 1/15-2/12/2012, game times are 5:00-9:00pm, played at area gyms, each match has 5 games, and cost is $25.00 per player. • Primetimers Marathon Bridge Group - Invites all Resurrection bridge players to join our 2011 season which runs from September to May.
