Ministry as a Career (MAC) Track
Ministry as a Career Track, or MAC Track, is a program designed to provide avenues for students who have expressed an interest or possible calling to explore vocational ministry, ordained and lay ministry, as a career option. MAC Track is committed to provide support, encouragement, resources and options to these students as they explore their calling. We are committed to excellence in offering students a realistic view of ministry, developing leadership through experiential learning, and providing an authentic Christian community where students with similar goals are whole-heartedly seeking to discern God's direction for their lives.

Description of MACtivity Gathering Topics
Wired: Using Your Gifts for God will allow students to identify their spiritual gifts and help them discover ways God can uniquely work through them to impact the world in powerful ways.
The Top 5 Things You Should Know About Ministry As a Career will engage you in a casual discussion with Senior Pastor Adam Hamilton about the five things he considers most important for you to know as you consider ministry as a career. You will have an opportunity to dialogue with Pastor Adam about his hopes and dreams for the next generation of Christian leaders.
Extra Ordinary Community will uncover what it looks like to become a community of believers who truly live like Jesus and his disciples. In this gathering we will understand what it means to reach for integrity, accountability and humility and how these virtues enable us to live out God’s mission in a broken world.
Tough Questions will give students the opportunity to ask hard questions pertaining to the Bible, faith, culture and God. The questions will be answered by a panel of Resurrection pastors and ministers who will provide valuable insight and experience while tackling some of Christianity’s most difficult topics.
How to Read the Bible will explore the full story of God’s word in a fresh way that connects the Old Testament and the New Testament for students. A big picture approach to the Bible will enable students to better understand God’s story, help them discover practical ways to read Scripture and benefit from the amazing depth found in the most popular book on earth!
Putting Your Faith in Action will examine what it looks to have proactive faith and to boldly move in a cautious world. We will hear from a panel of leaders who have taken radical steps of faith to follow God and the incredible ways God has used them over the years. This gathering will also give you the opportunity to explore the proactive steps of faith toward ordained ministry.
The Impact of Ministry will uncover the wonderful ways that various people and ministries have made a difference in today’s world. You will hear stories of inspiration, adventure and spiritual transformation that have impacted people and will challenge you to be confident that your decision to be a leader for Christ is making a difference.
