9-12 Grade Body Building

Construction Skills Class

The Body Building class is an opportunity for 9-12 grade students to learn basic construction and household skills. The hope is that once students have completed the class they feel comfortable serving the Lord with their hands with Habitat for Humanity and on local, national, and international mission trips.

This class is a three week class that is offered each Spring and Fall on Saturday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm in the West building. The class is led by Church of the Resurrection members who are Habitat for Humanity volunteers. 

In the first two weeks student s will learn the following skills:

• Safety & Carpentry

• Plumbing

• Electrical Wiring

• Dry Walling, Painting, & Siding

On the third week students meet off-campus at one of the service organizations that the Church of the Resurrection works with to put these skills to work.
