rezlife believes that as a staff we are called to be in partnership with parents, volunteers and students to build a Christian community where non and nominally religious students and families are becoming deeply committed Christians.

Immediate Volunteer Needs:

Youth Group:

  • 6th, 7th, and 8th grade- Wednesdays from 6:15 pm- 7:45 pm
  • High School- Wednesdays from 8:00 pm- 9:15 pm

Summer Missions:

Serve as a missionary and mentor on a variety of trips using your hands to

  • Surge: Students entering 7th & 8th grade in  the Fall
  • Chicago Inner City:  Students entering 9th-12th grade in the Fall & the previous year's Graduates
  • Dallas Inner City: Students entering 9th-12th grade in the Fall & the previous year's Graduates
  • Denver Inner City:  Students entering 9th-12th grade in the Fall & the previous year's Graduates
  • Kansas City Inner City:  Students entering 9th-12th grade in the Fall & the previous year's Graduates
  • Honduras: All adult volunteer spots currently filled
  • South Africa: Students entering 11th & 12th grade in the Fall & the previous year's Graduates

  1. Confirmation Co-Leader

    Co-lead a small group of students through a study of the fundamentals of our Christian faith.

    You will help facilitate a time to study, fellowship, discussion, prayer and activity that will connect students to Christ and to each other.

    • There are two sessions each year, spring and fall.
    • Confirmation & Conjunction meet for 10 weeks on Sunday afternoons.
    • Groups are grade and gender specific and rane in size from 6-10 students.
    • Curriculum and training provided.
  2. 7th & 8th Grade Group Life (Small Group) Co-Leader

    Be a part of intentional discipleship of students. Co-lead a small group of 7th & 8th grade students in a Bible based small group.

    • Group Life meets for 8 weeks in the fall and 10 weeks in the spring from 7:45-8:45pm (6th grade in the spring).
    • Groups are grade and gender specific and range in size from 6-12 students.
    • Curriculum and training provided.
  3. High School Group Life (Small Group) Co-Leader

    Be a part of intentional discipleship of students. Co-lead a small group of 9th-12th grade students in a Bible-based small group.

    • Group Life meets from 6:30-8:00pm on either Sunday or Wednesdays throughout the school-year.
    • Groups are primarily organized by grade and gender specific and range in size from 6-12 students.
    • Curriculum and training provided
  4. Sunday School Co-Leader

    Co-lead a group of students during Sunday School following a time of large group worship. Through Bible based study students can discover their purpose and how God's word is relevant to their lives.

    • Sunday School meets Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Student Center.
    • 6th-8th grades break into classes by grade and gender.
    • 9th-12th grades break into classes by grade in co-ed groups.
    • Curriculum & student/leader resources are provided.
  5. Retreat Co-Leader

    Co-lead with another volunteer a small group of students helping them to grow closer to God through fun, games, praying together, and creating memories.

    • Retreats are weekend commitments - typically Friday evening through Sunday morning in late fall and early spring.
    • Retreats are grade specific: 6th grade, 7th & 8th grade, 6th-8th grade, and high school.
    • Retreats are held off site as a nearby location.
    • Curriculum is provided
  6. Student Center Cafe

    Café volunteers are responsible for selling snacks to the students during Youth Group on Wednesday evenings in the fall and spring and on Sunday evenings in the Fall.

    • 6th Grade - Sunday 6:00-6:45pm (Fall Only)
    • 7th & 8th Grade - Wednesday 6:15-7:00pm (6th grade in the spring)
    • High School - Wednesday 7:45-8:15pm
  7. Youth Group

    Build Christ centered relationships with students by interacting with them through the Youth Group program.

    • Volunteers arrive 30 minutes prior to program start time.
    • 6th grade - Sunday 6:15-7:30pm (Fall Only)
    • 7th & 8th Grade - Wednesday 6:30-7:45pm (6th grade in the spring)
    • 6th, 7th & 8th Grade - Wednesday 6:30-7:45pm (Spring Only)
    • High School - Wednesday 8:00-9:15pm
  8. 6th + 7th & 8th Grade Trip Leaders

    Serve as a mentor on a variety of trips for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students during the year

  10. Ministry As A Career (MAC) Track

    Build Christ-centered relationships with 6th-12th grade students by interacting and mentoring them as they pursue a calling of vocational ministry in their lives.

    Large group gathering one Sunday a month & monthly special events TBD.

  11. Ministry Team Leaders

    Journey along with students as they use their spiritual gifts in ministry.

    Examples of ministry teams: drama, prayer, tech, welcome.
