Medical Missions - Healing Hands Ministry

Resurrection’s Healing Hands Ministry was established to create programs that promote healthy communities locally, nationally and globally by caring for others and sharing God’s love.

Opportunities to Serve

Those who serve through Healing Hands are committed to providing primary health care and community education to under-resourced populations locally and beyond Kansas City.

You can serve and make a lasting difference by joining a medical missions team to Honduras. Visit our Honduras website for specific trip information.  Resurrection teams have served hundreds of children and adults through local clinics, working closely with the Methodist Church in Honduras and public health personnel.  Physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, hygienists and pharmacists are needed, as well as non-medical personnel, therapists and health educators.

In Kansas City, you can join the team and help by organizing medicines and First Aid kits, managing volunteer opportunities, or conducting classes and presentations.  In the near future, we hope to identify local serving opportunities for healthcare professionals.

Please consider completing this short survey about medical missions. Your answers will help us design future medical mission trips that will use our members skills and passions for the best result.
