Our Mission

Mission team members serve alongside the Four Corners Native American Ministry and United Methodist congregations working in poor, rural areas as well as in small towns on the reservation. Team accommodations are modern bunk-house style in rustic settings, providing just the right environment for learning, sharing and growing together in Christ.

Teams will work with the local congregations on lay leader training, including Bible School training. Also help with light construction and renovation of worship spaces and family- centered places for congregational gatherings.

Navajo Nation trips offer the opportunity to learn directly from the Navajo people about their culture, history, current situation and call to the Lord. Education and fun are intermingled with opportunities to serve and worship. In addition to mission work, team members will have the opportunity to visit historical and cultural sites. Past cultural excursions have included the Hubble Trading Post, the Navajo National Monument, Canyon De Chelly and other scenic places on the reservation.  Teams can drive or fly to the Navajo Nation. Driving takes approximately 16 hours. Particpants flying would go through Albuquerque airport with a 2 hour drive to the Navajo Nation.
