Clothing & Furnishings - Collection Connection
The Collection Connection Ministry seeks to match in kind donations with agencies and individuals who are in need. Donations that reflect the love of Jesus and the dignity that is the birthright of each of our neighbors are always needed.
All donations are sorted by the Collection Connection Ministry team to ensure that clothing is in good condition, modest, in style and ready to wear. Gently used, in-season clothing and useful household goods are regularly distributed to over 20 local pantries that serve those in need in our community and the urban core. Recent model, working computers are refurbished by our volunteers and 80-100 computers are distributed each year. Hundreds of furniture and applicance donations are also distributed to partner ministries each year.
Serving and Donation Opportunities
You can donate year round, provide specific items for special drives, or serve by sorting, providing administrative assistance, delivering or refurbishing donations:

Your gently used clothing, furnishings, and recent model computers will bless those in need in the community.
Donation Drop-Off Location
Donations can be dropped off any time the church is open at the Collection Connection in the NW corner of the Narthex. There are bins labeled for "clothing" and "household goods", and a metal rack for "computer donations."
Furniture and working appliance donations require coordination for pick-up. Please do not drop off at the church. Contact Resurrection Furnishings at 544-0755, option 5 or resurrectionfurnishings@cor.org to arrange a pick-up.
