Collection Ministries


The Collection Connection Ministry seeks to match in kind donations with agencies and individuals who are in need.  We truly appreciate and welcome quality donations that reflect the love of Jesus and the dignity that is the birthright of each of our neighbor

Current Donation Needs and Annual Drives

For current list of donation needs, please review the Donation Needs List. 

In July we have an annual school uniform and school supplies drive .

In October we collect coats, winter accessories, blankets and sleeping bags.

Clothing and Household Goods Sorting

Join the team and help sort the large quantity of donations brought to the church every week. Fun, fellowship and sorting occurs on weekday mornings in our specially designed space just off the Narthex in the West Building.  Delivery drivers are also needed.  Contact Roberta Lyle at Roberta.Lyle@cor.org.

Sack Lunches

Provide a meal for homeless in the Kansas City area through our sack lunch program.  Contact Kelley Stewart at harmonybykelly@aol.com.

Bread Ministry

This team picks up bread and pastries from area bakeries and grocery stores several days a week and then delivers it to our local uraban ministries. If you would like to help once a month to pick up the baked goods or to drive, please contact Lynne Gooding at lgooding@kc.rr.com.
