Collection Connection
The purpose of the Collection Connection Ministry is to collect and distribute purposeful, quality items at appropriate times to organizations assisting those in need, while encouraging greater stewardship and awareness of needs in our community and transforming the lives of donors, helpers and recipients toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. The Collection Connection Ministry seeks to match in-kind donations with agencies and individuals who are in need. Donations that reflect the love of Jesus and the dignity that is the birthright of each of our neighbors are always needed.
The Collection Connection sends out clothing and other household goods to over 20 local pantries, distributes hundreds of furniture and appliances to partner ministries, and refurbishes 80-100 computers for urban ministries each year!

Your gently used clothing, furnishings, and recent model computers will bless those in need in the community.
Serving Opportunities
There are ways to help year-round by serving with our different ministries:
- Sort and Deliver donations with the Clothing, Etc. Ministry
- Refurbish computers and serve with the Computer Ministry
- Pick-up Donations or Serve with the Furnishings Ministry
Donation Drop-Off Location
Donations can be dropped off any time the church is open at the Collection Connection in the NW corner of the Narthex. There are bins labeled for "clothing" and "household goods", and a metal rack for "computer donations."
Furniture and working appliance donations require coordination for pick-up. Please do not drop off at the church. Furniture pick ups may be arranged by contacting Resurrection Furnishings at 913-544-0755, option 5, emailing resurrectionfurnishings@cor.org to by completing the donation pick up or drop off request.
