God’s Love in Action

FaithWork is an entry point into local missions at Resurrection and provides a meaningful way to serve God by serving others. FaithWork offers easy, pre-planned mission opportunities that require nothing of you except willing hands and a desire to serve.

When Does FaithWork Meet?

FaithWork always begins at 9am in the Narthex of the West Building of the Leawood Campus. Please plan to arrive by 8:45 to get checked in and select a serving opportunity.

What will I do?

There are a variety of opportunities to serve that typically last between two and four hours. You can choose one that takes place on the church campus or beyond the church walls in the Greater Kansas City community. How do I sign up?

Registration is not required, all you need to do is show up. If you are bringing a group or prefer to reserve space for a specific serving opportunity, there is a link to reserve your space on the event page, just click on the date you are interested in under Upcoming Activities to find the details. Reservations are recommended for groups of six or more. Contact Stew Curtright if you need assistance registering your group.

Are there any age requirements and can my family serve with me?

Children 5 years and older can participate in any of the activities marked Family Friendly with adult supervision. All serving opportunities list age requirements.

FaithWork Team Leader

Arrive at 8:30am on FaithWork Saturdays and provide direction and supervision for a specific serving opportunity. Planning and supplies will already be taken care of for you as well as written directions and information to share with your group about that specific ministry area.

Faith Shopper

Busy on Saturday mornings, but want to help? Shop for FaithWork supplies and sort items in preparation for FaithWork events.

FaithWork Set Up Team 

Arrive early for FaithWork at 7:30am to help set up supplies and sign up sheets as well as make coffee and assist with any last minute needs.
