Justice & Reconciliation
The purpose of the Resurrection Justice & Reconciliation Ministry is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians by building awareness in our congregation of issues that divide our communities as they relate to race, socio-economics, and justice. Our vision is to be a leading voice and resource for a reconciled and just community.
Serving Opportunities and Events:
The Justice Ministries welcome volunteers to help in a variety of ways at events through out the year. These events create opportunities for cross-cultural and cross-racial exposure, education and engagement by the participants.
- Help plan and execute the annual MLK Celebration events at Church of the Resurrection
- Become a trained Bus Tour Guide
- Help with the Poverty Simulation events (various times throughout the year)
See the current opportunities to the right if you are interested in volunteering with any of the other Justice Ministries such as Foster & Adoptive Care, Human Trafficking, Life Restoration and Prison.
