New Day Prison Ministry
The purpose of Resurrection's New Day Prison ministry is to restore hope for those currently incarcerated and recently released offenders and their families through personal visits, Bible study, mentoring relationships and acts of service.
Members from Resurrection have been doing ministry in the prisons through Alpha and Mentoring for over 4 years. This ministry provides an amazing opportunity to share the love of God with those who are lost or seeking, as Christ called us to do.
Serving Opportunities
- Lead Alpha courses in prisons
- Mentor inmates in prisons
- Participate in Brothers in Blue retreat weekend
- Attend special events for New Day Prison Ministry
- Provide Angel Tree gifts for inmates' families through JOY in Service
- Pray for inmates and their families
