Leading in Missions

“Coaching” is the most effective way to think about the role of leadership in God’s mission at Church of the Resurrection. Mission leaders:

  • Know what it takes to get others “in the game” - motivating, leading and involving our congregation in serving others and sharing Christ.
  • Are ready to be “salt and light” when critical needs are identified in our community, nation and world.
  • Are willing to develop new strategies as ministries grow and opportunities appear.
  • Are committed to knowing, loving and serving God.

In 2008, we are no longer offering Coach Camp or Coaching Clinics. Instead, Missions Spring Training is the primary equipping and leadership support event.

Mission leaders are asked to attend one missions training event each year and participate in a one-hour follow-up conversation within four-six weeks of the event.

Missions Spring Training: A Must for Ministry Leaders!

Whether or not you have attended Coach Camp or a Coaching Clinic in the past or if you are new to missions, this Spring Training is a must for you.

At Spring Training You Will:

  • Learn how you and your ministry fit into missions today
  • Learn where we’re going and what changes might be in store
  • Discover ways to become more effective in leading ministry for Christ at Church of the Resurrection

2008 Spring dates for Missions Training are complete.  We will planning more dates for the Fall, please check back again for specifics!
