Fall Family Retreat
Oct. 11-13 | Branson, MO
Unwind and reconnect as a family at the Fall Family Retreat at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO, October 11 – 13. Kids will have a chance to conquer the outdoors, there will be an on-site nursery available, and parents can find encouragement and renewal at a marriage seminar led by pastors Scott and Wendy Chrostek. A Friday night chuckwagon campfire dinner kicks off the weekend, and we’ll conclude with a meaningful time of worship on Sunday. Global Education Sponsorships
Each year, we invite you to make a difference in the lives of children and families around the world through our Global Education Sponsorship Program. This annual initiative allows you to directly support our partner schools in Uganda, Malawi, South Africa, and Honduras. Your contribution provides essential resources for these schools. Giving Garden
Help us kick off the season and be part of a meaningful community effort by joining us for an Opening Day Celebration of the Resurrection Giving Garden on May 4 from 10 am-noon. Last year, the Giving Garden donated over 10,000 tomatoes and nearly two tons of fresh produce to Kansas City families through Resurrection’s Food Mobile and Food Pantry. We are also excited to announce that we will be opening a gardening experience in Downtown Kansas City later this spring. We’ll have more information to share on the Downtown Giving Garden soon. Do Unto Others - Kindness Campaign 2024
Do Unto Others is a grassroots movement launched by Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, to encourage people to be intentional about treating one another with kindness, even those with whom we disagree.
Our individual actions matter. When we choose kindness during moments of disagreement, we create ripples of respect that change relationships and entire communities.

Rummage Sale Volunteer Sign-Up
The annual Resurrection Rummage sale hosted by our United Women in Faith is just around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to help make it a success. The sale is June 13 and 14, but we are recruiting volunteers for June 9 – 15. Vacation Bible Camp - The Jesus Tour
Mark your calendars for July 15 – 19 and get ready for “The Jesus Tour,” Vacation Bible Camp’s exciting adventure for kids currently in kindergarten through 5th grade! At VBC, we’ll be exploring Jesus’ message of kindness, respect, compassion, and humility through fun activities, crafts, games, and music. Registration is now open!
