Sunday Morning Small Groups
Adult Christian Education
Taking the Journey Together
At Church of the Resurrection we are driven by our purpose, which is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people are becoming deeply committed Christians.
What is a deeply committed Christian?
We define a deeply committed Christian as a disciple of Jesus Christ who is theologically informed by knowing God with their head, spiritually transformed by loving God with their heart, and living out their faith daily by serving God with their hands. We describe the process of growing as a disciple as taking The Journey.
How will a Small Group deepen my commitment to Christ?
Small Groups facilitate the process of spiritual transformation by utilizing the power of personal relationships. All of our personal relationships, with family members, co-workers, or friends, influence us deeply. At Resurrection, we know the most important relationship for everyone is a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship is nurtured when you become part of a Small Group that will encourage, challenge, and support you on The Journey.
