Blood Drive
Matthew Joyner entered into God's kingdom eternal on April 20, 2005--we dedicate Church of the Resurrection's Blood Drive in his memory.
Resurrection's blood drive began in response to Matthew's having needed blood for one of his surgeries. As this young man's legacy, it has grown to a quarterly drive blessing thousands with the gift of life from blood transfusions!
Anyone who is healthy, at least 16 years old and weighs at least 115 pounds may donate blood every 56 days (8 weeks). Specific medical eligibility questions change from time-to-time. Church of the Resurrection members who have recently traveled outside the United States should check with the Community Blood Center for answers to eligibility questions.
Appointments are encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome. The blood drive is busiest between 5 -7 pm.
Each of this year's drives has brought in more than 300 units of blood per drive. Thank you for sharing the gift of life!
