About the John Wesley Society

Church of the Resurrection's John Wesley Society (JWS) was established to provide you the opportunity to commit a gift during your lifetime that will preserve our life-changing ministry for generations to come.  The objective of the JWS is to honor a dedicated group of members and friends of the church who have chosen to include the church in their estate plans.

To Join the John Wesley Society

You can become a member of the JWS by notifying the church in writing that you have a gift plan for the Church of the Resurrection.  A deferred gift provision of any amount qualifies you for membership.  You gift may be unrestricted for the broad benefit of the church or designated for any of the JWS programs or initiatives.

About John Wesley

The John Wesley Society is named in honor of the founder of Methodism.  John Wesley has been called the single most influential Protestant leader of the English-speaking world since the Reformation.  He is responsible for the Wesleyan Revival, where the gospel was taken to the common people by preaching in open fields.  Although considered the founder of Methodism, he was never a Methodist, but always an Anglican Priest in the Church of England.
