Each year we ask our members to complete an estimate of giving card as we make plans for our ministry in the coming year. The estimate of giving cards serve two purposes. On a personal level, the process of considering what your offerings should be for the coming year and preparing an estimate of giving card can serve as a special time for prayer and reflection, a time to reflect on the blessings God has given you and an opportunity to recommit to loving God with your heads, hearts and hands. On a practical level, the estimates of giving enable our Finance Committee to accurately set ministry budgets for the coming year and make the most of the resources committed to God's work through us.
Consecration Weekend - November 3-4
On Consecration Weekend we present our estimate of giving cards to God. The word "consecration" means the setting apart of something for the worship or service of God. The presentation of our estimate of giving cards is an act of worship in which we are dedicating a portion of our financial resources to the service of God. We are investing in God’s vision and purpose, and creating an opportunity for God to work through us to change lives in our church, our community and our world.
