Easter Worship Schedule

Join us this Easter for a celebration that is filled with hope and joy. This year we’re offering a variety of worship service styles and formats. Senior Pastor Adam Hamilton will share the same Easter message at each service. Use this information to guide you in selecting the service that helps you have the most meaningful worship experience.

Central Campus

Contemporary Easter Celebration Services

  • Saturday, March 22 - 5 pm and 7 pm
  • Sunday, March 23 – 5 pm

Grammy Award winner Larnelle Harris joins Resurrection’s Lance Winkler and the DayStar Band to lead praise and worship at these casual and compelling services.

Classic Traditional Worship

  • Sunday, March 23 –  7 am, 9 am and 11 am

Grammy Award winner Larnelle Harris leads classic Easter hymns with the Resurrection Orchestra and Choir at these majestic traditional services.

Special Worship Service in the Student Center

  • Sunday, March 23 – 9:15 am

Enjoy a more casual service in the East Building Student Center. This intimate setting will be filled with the music of Easter, led by the Resurrection Youth Choir and Orchestra. At this service, help create a flowering cross in honor or memory of a loved one.

Worship for Families and Children

  • Sunday, March 23 – 3 pm

Designed with children in mind, this exuberant celebration of Easter includes music by the Children’s Choirs, a special children’s message, and an abbreviated Easter message by Pastor Hamilton. At this service, help create a flowering cross in honor or memory of a loved one.

Guest vocalist Larnelle Harris has been wowing crowds with his majestic tenor voice for over three decades. He is the recipient of five Grammy Awards, eleven Dove awards, including being named Male Vocalist of the Year three times.

Celebrate Easter at this historic church in downtown Kansas City! This extraordinary service features the temple’s magnificent historic pipe organ and classical vocalist Diane Robertson.
